SUMMERS, Scott Tyler
SUMMERS, Scott Tyler Born in Whittier, Calif., on May 1, 1957, passed away April 18, 2015 in Huntington Beach, Calif. He lived in Leona Valley from 1966-1972 and attended the Leona Valley School, Quartz Hill Elem., Del Sur Jr. High and his freshman year at Quartz Hill High School. He graduated high school in Michigan and attended vocational school in Colorado for automotive technology. He returned to the Valley in the 1980s after college where he married and raised his children. He spent most of his life working in the auto and motorcycle service. He worked briefly for Rockwell on the Space Shuttle program. He loved riding his motorcycle, his family, especially his three beautiful granddaughters. He was a kind and generous man, patient and loving. He will be missed by all who knew him and the world is poorer by his passing. Scott is survived by his father, Richard J. Summers; his fiancĀŽ Rosaann; sister Shayne Yocum; daughter Lindsae MacDuff; son, Christopher Summers and granddaughters, Callie, Idabell & Taelyn. Arrangements handled by Omega Society.
