STAHL, Linda Kay
STAHL, Linda Kay Oct. 1947 - Feb. 2015 After ten years from onset Linda finally lost her long struggle with a disease called ataxia. Linda was born in Parkersburg, W.Va. She is survived by her loving husband of 16 years Bob Stahl; her Mother Luanna Caplinger; her sister and brothers, Nona, Sam and Bill; and her daughter Shelly Van Noy. Her father, Samuel Caplinger and brother, Steve preceded her. Linda was a volunteer at the Edwards AFB Medical Group Red Cross, Quality Assurance, and Information Systems Office working over eight hour days for over five years. She was honored with Edwards AFB Volunteer of the Quarter, and Edwards AFB Angel Award. She was also an active member of the VFW Post 9375 Ladies Auxiliary where she served as secretary for 13 years. Linda made a skydiving tandem jump, and loved being around skydivers. She also loved trips on the Harley. After three runs to Sturgis, and many other runs to Ensenada, Yuma, Hollister, and various charity poker runs she finally had to give it up. Linda is now 'Forever in the Wind' Linda's Celebration of Life will be at 3 pm, March 7, 2015 at the California City VFW Post 9375, 21016 Neuralia Road, California City CA 93505.
