CONRAD, Ardy Phillip
CONRAD, Ardy Phillip Born on March 26, 1944 in Los Angeles, Calif., and raised in Sunland and Tujunga, Calif. Ardy was a faithful man of God and was called home to be with his Lord and Savior on Feb. 12, 2015 in Lancaster. He was a U.S. Navy Vietnam Veteran. He lived 25 years in the Antelope Valley and was a Journeyman Brick Mason by trade. He loved reading the Bible, sharing Christ and playing the piano. Ardy coached little league for many years. He is survived by his wife Linda Diane Conrad. His legacy lives on through his son Mark (Shari) of Denver, Colo., daughter Diane (Mathew) Vroman of Detroit, Mich., and grandchildren, Mattie, Betty, Zachary, Arzu and Marie. He is also survived by Jean Dinsmoor, Fran Matanak, Gerald and Jim Conrad and Teri Hans. He is preceded in death by his parents Harry and Vida. Going home service will be held at 1 pm, Thursday, Feb. 19, 2015 at Lancaster Baptist Church with interment on Feb. 27, 2015 at Bakersfield National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in his memory to the Lancaster Baptist Church's Building Fund. Arrangements entrusted to Joshua Memorial Park, Lancaster
