KISSACK, Kamma Elizabeth Ehrli
KISSACK, Kamma Elizabeth (Ehrlich) Age 69, passed away at home in Palmdale on January 22, 2015 after a 2 year battle with cancer. Kamma was born to Marjorie & Arthur K. Ehrlich, on February 23, 1945 in Glendale, and grew-up in Burbank. She lived in Quartz Hill and Palmdale, for 30 years. She and her beloved husband of 26 years, Don Kissack, are best known for Don's Early Light hot air ballooning. She organized numerous balloon events including AV Labor Day Sky Parade, Bear Valley Springs Balloonfest; was a 5-yr. Board member of Quartz Hill CofC; Past Membership Chair of So Cal Balloon Assoc., SCBA. She is survived by husband Don; 2 children, Eric & Toni; 3 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren with one on the way; 2 brothers, Hubert & Bill; sister Virginia plus nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. Kamma will be missed by all who knew and loved her. A Memorial Celebration of Kamma's Life will take place at 2 pm,Saturday, February 14, 2015 at St. Paul's Episcopal Church, 502 West Ave K, Lancaster, CA. Maps to Reception will be provided following the service.
