SCHELL, Harold Otto
SCHELL, Harold Otto Arrived May 1, 1924 - Ascended December 25, 2014 How do we say Goodbye to the man who set the standard for all the men in our lives to live up to? Having high standards he always did 'the right thing'. His family always came first. He saw best in people and never said a bad word about anyone. He could solve any problem presented to him. Harold served his Country in World War II: 'The Battle of the Bulge', 'The Campaign of Germany', the Secret Mulberry Project also known as the Pheonix , division of Army Corps of Engineers 372nd. His war stories were so inviting that we didn't want him to stop, they were movie worthy. After the War he married the love of his life, Norma. He started 'Harold's Appliance Repair' and worked his own business for 30 years. He was a friend to everyone. He loved music. He loved playing the piano and the organ. Together with his wife Norma they raised three children, his son Harold Jr.; daughter Sheryllynn and son Bruce. He was preceded in death by his wife of 60 years. He lived to celebrate his 7 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren. His laughs, hugs, stories and expert advice will truly be missed. The world seems a little darker since his light left us on Christmas night.
