CHRONISTER, Anne Passed away December 26, 2014 in the comfort of her home in Lancaster, Calif. She was born in Columbia, Missouri on July 20, 1923 to Charles and Mary Little. She was preceded in death by her beloved high school sweetheart and husband Harold Chronister. She leaves behind her three children, Carol Stanford (Glenn), Alan Chronister (Diane), Donna Walker (Herb); four grandchildren, Eric Stanford (Michelle), Blake Stanford (Jill), Jason Chronister (Jennifer), Lori Bender, and ten great grandchildren. Anne is also survived by three sisters. Anne worked for Lockheed as a 'Rosie the Riveter' during World War II where she met her lifelong and best friend, Lois Ryker. Anne and Harold moved to Lancaster in 1952 and later opened Chronisters Furniture Store and Lindseys Interior. Anne was active as a longtime member of the Lancaster United Methodist Church where she helped supervise their soup kitchen for 25 years. One of Annes favorite things in life was having her annual 4th of July celebration with her 10 brothers and sisters, children, and friends. Another favorite yearly tradition was taking all of her kids, and great grandkids to Disneyland at Christmas time. Annes celebration of life will be held at 11 am, January 3, 2015 at the Lancaster United Methodist Church, 9189 W. Ave J.
