GRUBBS, Harry Alan
GRUBBS, Harry Alan Harry age 59, passed away December 18, 2014 at home, 15 months after being diagnosed with cancer. Harry graduated from Quartz Hill High School (Leona Valley, Calif.) and spent much of his life in Southern California before moving to the Sacramento Valley in 2002. He lived with his beloved partner, Cheryl Rust, with whom he found true happiness. Harry was a talented builder, working many years in the construction trades and was employed as a foreman at On-Site Engineering at the time of his diagnosis. He will be forever remembered for his kindness, easy-going spirit, generosity and his ability to fix almost anything. He was a gifted craftsman and a gentle soul. Harry is survived by his loving parents, Alan & Charlotte Grubbs of Chuckey, Tenn.; his daughter Jill Bojorquez (Eddie Molano) of La Crescenta, Calif.; his sons, Cody Grubbs of Colorado Springs, Colo., and Jesse (Rachel) Grubbs of Kingsport, Tenn.; his brothers, John (Anna) Grubbs; Joseph Grubbs; and Brandon (Kim) Grubbs; his grandchildren, Madison Bojorquez, Brayden Grubbs, and Emma Molano, and his many nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the University of California Davis Hospice Program.
