LANGHAM, Robert John
LANGHAM, Robert John Born Dec. 14, 1950 in Oil City, Pa. Robert (Bob) lost his battle with cancer and passed away in his home on Dec. 3, 2014. Bob joined the Army at 17 and served in the Vietnam war from 1968-1971, he was a paratrooper in the infantry and received several medals including a Purple Heart and an Army Commendation medal. Bob moved to the AV in 1978 and started his own roofing business. He worked at Edwards AFB from 1988-1998. He spent many years at El Dorado Little League as coach, manager, groundskeeper, umpire, scorekeeper and whatever was needed. Bob was a huge Pittsburgh Steelers Fan but enjoyed all sports. He was a NASCAR and NHRA enthusiast and went to every race he could. Bob leaves behind his wife Dawn of 39 years; sons, Jeff aka Red (Elvira), and Jonathan and grandchildren, Amanda, Jonathan Ryan, Emily, Evan & Yasmin; sister Patricia Langham Sanders, and brother Willard (Bill) Langham. Services will be heldat 11:30 am, Sat., Dec 13, 2014 at Desert Vineyard, Lancaster. In lieu of flowers please make donations to the Fisher House or Wounded Warrior Project.
