HUTCHINGS, Judith Helene
HUTCHINGS, Judith Helene Judith Helene Hutchings, longtime resident of Palmdale, passed peacefully in her sleep at her home November 9, 2014 after a short but courageous battle with cancer. Judith was born November 22, 1942 in Seattle, Washington to Alfred Henry and Inez May (Morgan) Nermo, she was one of two children. Judith was married to Jimmie Lewis Hutchings for many years. They had two children and three stepchildren. Those who knew Judith will remember her as a very strong, compassionate and caring woman whose family meant everything to her. Judith was considered mom to many a neighborhood 'orphan'. Judith loved the outdoors, music, and traveling. Judith is survived by her life long friend of 50+ years, Olen Hutchings; her son Red Hutchings; daughter, Judy Fay Hutchings-Younger; stepson, James Kenneth 'Butch' Hutchings, numerous nieces and nephews, and many grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. Judith was preceded in death by her mother, father, sister, two stepsons, and ex-husband Jimmie Lewis Hutchings. Honoring Judiths wishes cremation has taken place and graveside services will be held at 10 am, Saturday, November 15, 2014 at Desert Lawn Memorial Park. The family invites you to 'bring your memories' and join them in a 'Celebration of Life' gathering at the Club House located at Thousand Elms Mobile Home Lodge from 11 am to 2 pm.
