AGUILAR, Joseph Jr.
AGUILAR, Joseph Jr. Passed away on Oct. 17, 2014, in Rosamond at the age of 81 of Diabetic complications. Son of Joseph Merced Aguilar and Helen Rodriguez Aguilar. A proud 3rd generation California and a U.S. Army Veteran of the Korean War. Survived by Children: Charlotte Tuttle (Robert), Tami Thomas (Travis), Joseph David Aguilar (Michelle), wife Sonja Jean Aguilar, her children Tom, Margaret, William, Carlos, and Jamie Larson. Much loved grandchildren: Michael and Raymond Gleich, Stacee Smith , Ryan Stidfole, Mark Hendrickson, Lauren, Matthew, Alyssa Aguilar, Jon Tuttle and Brandy Fox and many Great Grad Children, brother Gilbert. A true sportsman, was Downey High School running back known as 'Joltin Joe'. In Lancaster he played mens-slow pitch leading local team 'Lobos' to many championships, he received many MVP trophies for his pitching skills. Employed by L.A. County Engineers for over 30 years. He retired to his 'Little Ponderosa' in west Rosamond. He passed away quietly at home as he wanted with his wife by his side. In lieu of flowers please donate to the Diabetes Association.
