SISLEY, Damien A.
SISLEY, Damien A. 1980- 2014 Damien, a longtime South Pasadena resident, passed away on Sunday, October 12, 2014 due to injuries sustained in a car accident near his home in Palmdale. He is remembered as an amazing son, brother, and friend, and known to everyone as a deep soul, smart, generous, selfless, fiercely honest and loyal, who lived a simply good and kind and purposeful life. Damien was born in Los Angeles and lived most of his life in the Pasadena area until relocating to Palmdale six years ago. He attended Clairbourn School in San Gabriel, and South Pasadena Middle and High Schools, and graduated with honors from Los Angeles Trade Tech College with a degree in Automotive Technology. Damien enjoyed a successful career as a mechanic and smog technician and was in constant demand by family and friends to diagnose every manner of mechanical problem and fix their cars or lend a hand with home repairs. He enjoyed camping, restoring and racing vehicles, photography, and simple pastimes with friends and family. Damien Sisley is survived by his mother Christine Sisley; sister Octavia Sisley; brother Eric Sisley; stepfather, Ken Garen, and father Richard Sisley, and by a close circle of friends. The Family plans a memorial service to celebrate his life. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, a donation in Damiens memory may be made to the Pasadena Humane Society.
