BRODOCK, Harry Leland
BRODOCK, Harry Leland Born Dec. 20, 1943 in Arkansas City, Kan., passed away Sept. 22, 2014 in Quartz Hill, Calif. A 26 year AV resident, Harry grew up in Arkansas City, Kan., graduated from Ark City High School and Emporia State College, Kan. He was a KC 135 pilot and retired a Major in the USAF. He worked at Quartz Hill Chamber, loved computers and worked for SCORE small business counseling. He earned his Masters Degree from UCLA and USC. Harry is survived by his wife Carol; son, Jason (Jana Lauer and step-grandson Tyler Lauer), and daughter, Mandy. Harry was the 2004 Grand Marshal for the Almond Blossom Festival. He conceived and initiated the computers for schools program in which inmates repair and recondition used computers donated by businesses, then place them in southern California schools. He will be missed by family, friends and the whole community.
