BAKKEN, Randall
BAKKEN, Randall Randall Dean Bakken (Randy)born in Marshalltown, Iowa July 6, 1950 died Thursday July 10, 2014 from extended complications due to a broken hip. Randy worked for Lockheed Martin for over 30 years and was a member of the Skunk Works. His projects included; S3-A Viking, L-1011 Tri Star, U-2 Dragon Lady, SR-71 Black Bird and was instrumental in the construction of the F-117 Night Hawk and received countless awards for his work. His love for aircraft was combined with his love for travel and both took him around the world. He lived in 7 different countries, 4 states and did a tour on the U.S.S Independence (CV-62). We will all miss your house parties and your zest for life. See Ya Dad. He is survived by his wife Sally; son Sean; mother Ladonna; sister Tammy; nephews Ryan & Kyler and his beloved dog Quince. Preceded in death by his father Eugene, brother Dale and his brother Eric who died one day earlier on July 9, 2014.
