PIERCEALL, Emma Loraine
PIERCEALL, Emma Loraine (Jessup) Longtime Antelope Valley resident Emma Loraine (Jessup) Pierceall passed peacefully at noon on July 2, 2014 after a steady decline which began with a stroke in December '2013. She was the beloved wife of Paul Pierceall, and a dear mother of Paul Michael Pierceall (Dorene), Billie Jean Pierceall-Brown (Kenneth), and Cheryl Ann Pierceall-Young (Michael). Emma Loraine attended Virden High School in Springfield, Ill., where she was recognized for her superior spelling and attendance. Emma Loraine and Paul moved to the San Fernando Valley, Calif., in 1953, and spent the last 17 years in Palmdale, Calif. She was employed for many years as a bookkeeper for Roland Land in Tarzana, Calif., and as a receptionist for Water and Power Community Credit Union in Van Nuys, Calif. She will be remembered for her gentle nature and desire to help those around her. Loraine was born on, July 10, 1927 in Pawnee, Ill. She was the second daughter of the late Scott and Emma Jessup. She was preceded in death by her brothers, Raymond and Elmer Jessup; her sisters, Margaret (Jessup) Wilcoxson, and Anna Mae (Jessup) Prescher, and grandson, Dylan Pierceall. She leaves her loving memories to be cherished by her husband of 67 years, Paul; their three children, Mike, Billie and Cheryl; her brother, Glen Jessup (Beverly); loving grandchildren, Nicole (Sterba) Hendricks (Nathan), Misti Pierceall, Daniel Pierceall, Brian Sterba (Stephanie), Andrew Brown (Rebecca), Stuart Young, Leah (Brown) Hernandez (Adrian), and Rachael (Young) Ross (Adam); her most precious great- grandchildren, Reyna Mejenez, Ocean Oestreicher, Emma Joy Brown, Josslyn and Devin Hendricks, Haleema and Olivia Young, Riley Hernandez, and Maxson Sterba; sister-in-law, Marion Jessup, and brother-in-law, Gerald Prescher. It was her wish to be cremated, and a private celebration of life will be held in the upcoming months. In Lieu of Flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
