O'MALLEY ISBELL, Harriet Adela
OMALLEY ISBELL, Harriet Adelaide Longtime Antelope Valley resident passed away on June 10, 2014 in Bozeman, Montana. She was born Harriet Adelaide Bassett on January 25, 1924, the daughter of Harry Howard and Margaret Teague (Briggs) Bassett. She and her husband Earl Isbell (who preceded her in death two years ago) had retired to Bozeman/Belgrade. Montana for more than 20 years. Also preceded in death by the father of her 5 children, Gilbert OMalley, Sr., and her daughters, Kathleen OMalley Goodner (Jim) and Lois OMalley. She is survived by her daughter, Carol Ruth Komnick of Washougal, Wash.; sons, Steven Howard OMalley (Cheryl) of Rapid City, S.D., and Gilbert OMalley, Jr. (Becky) of Palmdale, Calif., numerous grandchildren; great-grandchildren, and several great-great- grandchildren. She loved traveling, having visited most of the National Parks in the Western United States; 'Traditional' camping; US and International stamp collecting, she had a passion for Genealogy and had diligently researched and created handwritten catalogs tracing family heritage to the Mayflower and before. She enjoyed all types of music especially Big Band and Swing Music) She also had a collection of some family antigues. She was a member of Beta Sigma Phi Sorority while living in Palmdale, holding several different offices while a member. Interment has taken place with her final resting place next to her husband at Springhill Cemetery, Montana.
