Larry Christopherson 1941 ~ 1989 Memorial Day 2014 I took some flowers to his grave today, Some red carnations, a summer bouquet, They are made of silk, so they will last, Through desert heat and windy blast, When they are dusty and covered with gray, Soap and water will wash it away. I took my memories to his grave today, Poignant remembrances of yester days, Sweet sad thoughts of things long past, From infant to manhood the years went fast, The anguish and pain of his last days, Neither time nor tears will wash them away.
