ROQUEMORE, Judson Carl
ROQUEMORE, Judson Carl Passed away on January 3, 2014. He was born in Farmington, New Mexico in 1925. In World War ll he proudly served his country in the United States Navy. After the war he remained in the Naval Reserve and served in the Korean Conflict. Later he graduated from Highlands University in Las Vegas, New Mexico and taught school for a while. In 1952 he was employed by United States Potash in Carlsbad, New Mexico for sixteen years, then transferred to United States Borax in Boron, California where he worked as a chemist and retired after thirty nine years. He was a fine Christian man who served the Lord as a deacon in the Southern Baptist Church for many years. He is survived by his wife, Rosemary, of sixty six years, a son, Ronald and wife, Margerett, and a daughter, Janice; a sister, Mernice; five grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews. We all loved him and miss him so very much. He will, forever, be in our hearts. Viewing will be held at noon and Services at 1 pm, January 15, 2014 at Stickel Mortuary in Mojave, California, and burial to follow at East Kern County Cemetery in Mojave, California.
