Obituary Notices and Memorials

WILSON, Nicholas Alan
WILSON, Nicholas Alan Age 35, died January 3, 2014 with the wind on his shoulder and the moon as his guide. Often he rode his 'GXSRr' through the canyons, skirted onion fields, and blazed the highways of the California desert we know as The Antelope Valley. He was born February 20, 1978 in Los Angeles, eventually settling in the High Desert with his parents and siblings. Nick spent his youth honing his talents: Sports, hunting, fishing, electronicsÉ you name it, he was doing it. A talented individual, self-taught and educated in many trades, never letting a project go unexplored. He attended Quartz Hill High, eventually gravitating towards a career in Aerospace technology. Most recently, he had advanced his career in Valencia at ITT Technologies to Senior Technician for Overhaul. The Antelope Valley was his home, as were the friends, family, coworkers, and the projects he admired. His friendships were genuine as his time with family and friends were the center of his life. He will be sorely missed and live forever in our hearts and minds. He leaves behind his wife, Mary Frances; Daughter, Kaelyn; Parents, Julie and Roy; Parents, Lenny and Jeannine; Sister, Cristina and their entire extended families, The Wilsons, The McGraths, The Hopkins, The Dermodys, The Binghams, and many more. A memorial service will be held 3 pm, Saturday, January 11, 2014, at Joshua Memorial in Lancaster, CA.
