STINE, Roy born in Erie, Pa. on Nov. 24, 1953, passed away in Lancaster, Calif. on Dec. 16, 2013. Roy grew up in Palmdale and attended Manzanita, Juniper and Palmdale High Schools. He served in the U.S. Army and lived in the Antelope Valley 52 years. Music was Roys passion. He played the trombone in the SCSBOA Honor Band during high school. He also loved to attend the concerts of his favorite musicians. He was never married or had any children, so he loved spending time with his nieces, nephews and their children. They all love their 'Unca Boy' as he was affectionately called. He is survived by 2 sisters, a brother and their spouses: Sandy (Stine) and Jeff Storm, Lori (Stine) and Mike Schmitt and Ron and Darla (Lopez) Stine; 6 nieces and nephews: Frank and Angela (Storm) Myers, Jeff Storm Jr., Jill Schmitt, Elizabeth Stine, Stephanie Stine and Ron Stine Jr.; a great-niece and 3 great-nephews: Mia Pavia, Alex Storm, Jeffery Storm III, and Josiah Myers. He also leaves behind Rosa Cordova, Josh Escandon and many other people whom he loved dearly. He is preceded in death by his mother Elizabeth Hay, his father Lyle Stine and his nephew Matthew Storm. A celebration of Roys life will be held at 4 pm, Monday, Dec. 30, 2013 at Halley Olsen Murphy , 44831 Cedar Ave., Lancaster, CA
