ROBERTS, Martha Ann
ROBERTS, Martha 'Ann' Born, July 14, 1939 in Alamosa, Colo. went to live with our Lord on Nov. 6, 2013 in Lancaster, Calif. In 1959 Ann and her husband James moved to the San Fernando where Ann loved being a Kindergarten teacher for LAUSD (Roscoe Elementary). Once she retired in 2005, she and James moved to the Antelope Valley. Ann, the oldest of five children of Clayton and Harriett Parker, was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, friend and teacher. She was the most amazingly devoted grandmother. Ann touched so many lives with her smile, kindness and generosity. She will be greatly missed by all. Ann is survived by her husband of 55 years, James Roberts, daughter and son in law, Shelly and Robert Ogden, son and daughter in law, Dr. Michael and Pam Roberts. Grandchildren; Mikey, Hayden, Garrett, Ian, Annajolie, Parker, Cooper, Steve, Chris and Heather. Sisters, Dixie Rogers, Joanie Cavaliere, brothers Jimmy Parker, Tommy Parker and all their spouses, close family friend, Cindy and her family, along with many nieces, nephews and dear friends. Celebration of Ann's life will be held at Eternal Valley Memorial Park at 23287 N. Sierra Highway, Newhall. Visitation: 4-8 pm, Friday, Nov.15, 2013. Memorial Celebration: 10 am, Saturday, Nov. 16, 2013. Reception to follow.
