IVIE, Kenneth Jay
IVIE, Kenneth Jay Born on July 8, 1941 in Glendale, passed away Nov. 7, 2013 in Lancaster. He grew up in Glendale and lived in the Antelope Valley 20 years. He joined the Navy as a Gunners Mate Seaman (1959-1964). Kenneth was a Vietnam Veteran; a Carpenter for 45 years and a Truck/School Bus Driver. He received college training as a Carpenter and Electrician. He was an avid Outdoorsman, Fishing, and Camping and a Coin Collector. He was a supportive family man. He took his family on many memorable camping, road, and family trips. Kenneth is survived by his wife, Jeanne; children: Juline Hobson (Keith), Kevin Ivie (Andrea), Justine Chavez(Charlie); grandchildren: Ashlee, Victoria, Zachery (Chantel), Jared, Lauren, Shane, Abigail, Ethan, Sheree, Shane, and Krystal; great grandchildren: Caleb, Kylie, Kailiani, Michael and David, and siblings: Donald Self and Patricia Coon. Memorial Service will be held at 2 pm, Nov.19, 2013 at Halley Olsen Murphy Funerals and Cremations , 44831 North Cedar Ave. Lancaster
