MANNING, Loyd Eugene
MANNING, Loyd Eugene Born Dec. 4, 1929 in Carbondale, Kansas, passed away Oct. 27, 2013 in Lancaster. Loyd grew up in Lyndon, Kan., served in the United States Army and lived in the Antelope Valley 53 years. Loyd was an Electrician for Lockheed Aircraft. His hobbies were reading, fishing, building models, camping and worked with the YMCA Lockheed Retirement Club. Loyd is survived by his wife Dorothy Jean; a son Ken and daughter in law Jan of Porterville, Calif.; grandchildren, Tyler Manning, Lauren Manning Gilmore (Monty), Raymond and Mark Fausel and Camille Manning; a great grandchild: Liam Gilmore; Loyd is also survived by his brothers: John and Paul; sisters: Ina, Mary, Alice, Martha, sister in laws Armitta Granicy (Robert), Ramona Beck and numerous nieces and nephews. Loyd is preceded in death by his parents John Paul and Laura Edith Manning and siblings: Betty, Ernest; and brother in law Ken Beck. A Memorial Service will be held at 11 am, at Roosevelt Community Church, Lancaster. Joshua Memorial is handling the services.
