ROACH, Samuel
ROACH, Samuel Radford Samuel Radford Roach was born on February 4, 1936 in Gibbstown, West Virginia, and went home to be with the Lord on October 15, 2013. Samuel was a teacher for over 50 years; 33 of those were spent teaching for Hughes Elizabeth Lakes Union School District. He will be remembered as being a passionate and gifted educator, a fabulous musician, an adoring father and grandfather, as well as a loving husband. Those who knew him loved his care-free, humorous personality. He enjoyed making people laugh. Most importantly, Samuel lived his life for our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. His heart for God has been an inspiration to countless people, friends and family alike. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him. Samuel is survived by his beautiful wife of 39 years, Norma Joyce Roach, his daughter Kristin Casanova, her husband Richard Casanova, and their two children Nicholas and Sofia Casanova; his daughter Amanda Zimmerman, her husband Johnny Zimmerman, and their two children Olivia and Isabella Zimmerman; his son David Roach, his wife Brianne Roach, and their three children Presley, Maddoz and Delilah Roach. A memorial service will be held at the Lancaster Baptist Church at 11 am, Saturday, October 26, 2013. All who knew Samuel and wish to join in the celebration of his life are welcome to attend.
