JEFFERSON, Lois Evelyn
JEFFERSON, Lois Evelyn (Butler) Lois Evelyn (Butler) Jefferson, 98, was dear to many and will be continually missed. She passed into the arms of Jesus Christ on September 1, 2013 in Lancaster, Calif. Born in Big Cabin, Okla., Lois married Joseph George Jefferson in 1936 and resided many years in Signal Hill prior to Los Alamitos. Lois was a Supervisor in the jewelry department of the Cerritos FEDCO (Dutch Village) where she worked for over 20 years, continuing to enjoy monthly breakfasts with fellow past employees at Knott's Berry Farm until last year. She moved to Rancho Village Retirement Community in Palmdale, Calif. in 2009 to be near one of her daughters where she gained new friendships while keeping contact with distant family and friends, even after entering a board and care home last November in Lancaster. She was always grateful for her Lord and Savior, her husband, two daughters, Beverly Dollar and Allyn Young; six grandchildren; eighteen great grandchildren and ten great grandchildren. Memorial Service will be held 11 am Thursday, October 3, 2013 at Grace Chapel. Donations to Hoffman Hospice. No flowers.
