KUCH, Carroll M.
KUCH, Carroll M. Born July 11, 1935 in Zap, N.D. passed away September 14, 2013 in Quartz Hill, Calif. After graduating from Beulah, N.D. High School, he joined the Navy. He served his time on the USS T. E. Chandler a destroyer ship during the Korean Conflict from 1953-1956. He graduated from the School of Engineering at N.D. State University in 1960 with a degree in Electrical Engineer. He worked for N. American Aviation, Rockwell and McDonnnell Aircraft. Carroll is survived by Doris his wife and their three daughters, Camille (Dan) Metherd, Lakewood, Colo.; Carla (Bart) Rusnak, Tehachapi, Calif.; Carmell Bassoni, Ventura, Calif, three grandchildren Zachary Metherd, Lindsey (Chad) Herdt, and Lisa (Ryan) Morgan. Three great grandchildren Riley Ann and Brycen Herdt and Shaylynn Morgan. One brother Donald (Margaret) Beulah, N.D. and one sister Marlene (Les) Ensminger, Elgin, N.D. Preceeded in death by his parents George and Martha Kuch and his stepmother Helen. A memorial service will be at the VFW Post 3000, 4342 W. Ave L, on Sunday, September 22, 2013 at 2 pm, graveside service in Beulah, N.D. at a later date. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations to the Wounded Warrior Project.
