RIDGWAY, Andrew Clyde
RIDGWAY, Andrew Clyde Born January 13, 1926 in Oklahoma. He passed away September 4, 2013 in Gilroy, Calif. Preceded in death by wife Wilma Irene Ridgway, and daughter Shirley Ridgway. Andy attended school in Oklahoma and received his high school diploma in Lancaster, Calif. He was drafted into the United States Army and proudly served in World War II with the 309th Infantry, Lightning Division, Company C in Europe. He also had two brothers who served during the war. All came home safely! He shared a love for music with his brothers. He was an outstanding bass player, and enjoyed playing several other instruments. His other passion was playing golf. He is survived by his daughter Barbara and husband Ernie Freitas, and daughter Joanna Ridgway. Grandchildren Alicia Metchikoff, Tiffany Hatt, Lynette and husband Lionas Brinkis, Lenny Rinella, Aaron and wife Kia Freitas, Amy and husband Joe Elliott; great grandchildren, Joseph Brinkis, Cassandra Brinkis, Tristen Brinkis, Chris Rinella, Jessica Rinella, Tawni Marcus, Jonathan Hatt, Jocelyn Hatt, Matthew Elliott, Hailey Elliott and Andrew Freitas. Great, great grandchildren, Madison Shill, Brynn Marcus, Chayce Hatt, Kylee Hatt and Dayton Blesh. Funeral service will be held on September 11, 2013 at Joshua Memorial Park, 808 E Lancaster Blvd. Viewing will be held at 10 am, Service to follow at 11 am. Joshua Memorial Park, Lancaster
