MASON, Sandra
MASON, Sandra lived a full, rich, and satisfying life, which ended on August 29, 2013 at age 66, in the presence of numerous members of her large, loving family. Born Sandra Jean Clark on December 27, 1946 in Huntington, Ind., she raised a family of 6 daughters and 1 son, and is survived by all 7, as well as her husband of 38 years Ralph, 3 stepchildren, 13 grandchildren, and 5 great-grandchildren. The oldest of 6, Sandra spent parts of her childhood in numerous countries while her father served in the Army, before her family returned to Huntington. Sandra and her own growing family moved to Southern California in December 1969, settling first in the San Fernando Valley, before relocating to the Antelope Valley, residing in Lancaster, Lake Los Angeles, Wrightwood, and finally returning to Lancaster. Sandra's surviving children are: Teresa Allman of Aurora, Colo.; Jimmy Allman of Elkton, Ky; Betty Frye of Littlerock; Julia Allman of Renton, Wash.; Tonija Allman of Palmdale; Sonija Caron of Lancaster; and Jeanette Jeno of Winters, Calif. She was preceded in death by a son, Paul, who died in infancy. A memorial service was held August 31, 2013 at Grace Chapel Neenach. Sandra's remains were cremated and her ashes will be spread in the Pacific Ocean off the Central California coast.
