ERICKSON-DuBose, Melissa Monet Born June 18, 1981 in Mission Hills passed away August 8, 2013, Lancaster, Calif. Graduated the first class of Lancaster High School in 1999, took many college courses, worked at Funland and Taco Bell; was in Girl Scouts, volunteered at Grace Resource center. Melissa was Baptized Mothers Day 2013 to renew her life to the Lord. Her hobbies were singing, dancing, drama/Improv, movies, music, drawing and swimming. "Melissa" means "Sweet Spirit" and "Kind One" and that's exactly what she was. She loved the Lord and her family with all her heart, she saw the good in everybody. She loved to pull pranks and had a cute and unique sense of humor. She was/is a very, very special and wonderful young lady gone way to soon. Survived by her parents Larry and Deborah Erickson, brothers Carl, Jason (Jackie), Andrew ((Jazmine) and Eric (Amber), Chad (Lisa) and sister Tiffany (Frank). Grandmother McKim, nieces and nephews, Rose, Corey, Casey, Cameron and Devin. Aunts Randi, Karen, Penny, Tricia, Jan, Kathleen, Yvonne and Sue. Uncles Gary, Homer, John, Jerry, Floyd and Joe; and biological father Tom DuBose, Jr.and many relatives on all sides and many friends. Memorial Services and reception will be held September 7, 2013 at 11 am at Desert Vineyard Church, 1011 E. Avenue I, Lancaster, Calif.
