COOPER, Esther
COOPER, Esther Born March 27, 1934, in Los Angeles (Watts), Calif. Passed away June 19, 2013, in Lancaster, Calif. Esther was born and raised in (Watts), Los Angeles, Calif. She then moved and resided in New York, and Las Vegas where her eldest child was born. She loved to dance and was inspired by music. She returned to California where she raised her children until she came to the Antelope Valley in September of 1965. She was a homemaker and raised her five children and had a hand in the life of her grandchildren, which she leaves a great legacy with today. She mastered many pieces of embroidery, and would enjoy countless hours of this craft. She also enjoyed drawing. Accomplishments for Esther, was the remarkable task of touching each of her children with great strength and fortitude. A legacy that is being passed from generation to generation. She is survived by her daughters, Melody Linicon of Lancaster, Calif.; Di Anne Hines (Troy) of Houston, Texas; Regina Chung (David) of Palmdale, Calif.; sons, Rico Nunley (Phyllis) of Palmdale, Calif.; Carlos Nunley of Lake Los Angeles; 21 grandchildren, and 29 great-grandchildren, She was preceded in death by her parents, Elise and Ida Rangel, sister, Anita Sapp and great-grand- daughter, Kennedy Sierra Hookfin. A Memorial Service will be held at 10 a.m., Saturday, August 3, 2013, at the Living Stone Cathedral of Worship, located at 37721 N. 100th Street, Little Rock, CA 93543. Officiating the service will be Pastor Terrence Hughes. You may sign the condolence book at Chapel of the Valley Mortuary, Palmdale Directors.
