HAYNES, E. Kenneth
HAYNES, E. Kenneth Born January 29, 1940, in Stoneham, Massachusetts. Passed away July 26, 3013, in Lancaster, Calif. He grew up in Danvers, Massachusetts, and has lived in the Antelope Valley for 30 years. He was a Highway Patrol Officer and Registered Nurse. He received the 2011 Lake L.A. area Volunteer on Patrol of the Year (Lancaster Sheriffs Station). Highway Patrol Code of Honor (1968). Ken spent most of his life helping others and was passionate about people which is why he made nursing his life career. He was a registered nurse for over 40 years and retired January 2013, in the spirit of helping others he signed up to be a 'Volunteer on Patrol' which allowed him to continue to keep local residents safe and free of crimes by patrolling neighborhoods. Ken had an amazing love and pride for family, friends and community. He is survived by his son M. Ruben Haynes and nephew Arzie David. His celebration of his life will take place this week to remember all that he was, those he touched and most of all to say farewell to a father, friend, neighbor, co-worker, mentor, teacher, colleague, partner.
