DUFT, John Charles
DUFT, John Charles Born Oct. 14, 1942, in Los Angeles, Calif. Passed away May 25, 2013, in Lancaster, Calif. He grew up in Los Angeles and was a Army veteran serving in the U.S. Army. He received the Good Conduct medal, Vietnam Service Medal, Expert (Rifle M-14). He has lived in the Antelope Valley for 27 years. He worked for the City of Los Angeles Water and Power for 35 years, 10 months, receiving numerous Directors Awards of Appreciation. He was an Endowment Member of NRA and certified instructor, also a long time member of Palmdale Fin & Feather Club. Survived by his spouse Nadine Duft of Palmdale, Calif., children Lisa Chavez (Duft) of Ft. Mohave, Ariz., son John A. Duft of Palmdale, grandchildren Michael and Christina Herrera and Amber Edwards, great-grandchildren Alexis and Alijah. Preceded in death by his parents Adam and Marie Duft. Celebration of life will be held at 11 a.m., Saturday, June 22, 2013, at 39463 10th St. East. Thanks to VFW Post #3552 for accommodations.
