JAMES, Lloyd Willford
JAMES, Lloyd Willford Born Sept. 26, 1924, in Carlisle, Arkansas, to parents Will and Mary James. Passed away May 20, 2013, in Lancaster. Lloyd was a World War II veteran and married Nora Ann Warren on June 7, 1948, in Lake Village, Arkansas. The couple moved to Lancaster in 1950, and he worked for Rychebosch Poultry for thirty-eight years. He loved fishing, and traveling in the RV and his family. He is survived by his wife Nora Ann, sons Jerry James of Albuquerque, New Mexico, and Lloyd James Jr., of Lancaster, California, grandchildren include Jeremy and Angela James of Albuquerque, Chris and Penny James of Lancaster, Adam and Nancy Loyd of Lancaster, great-grandsons are Jadon, Jax and Cash all of Lancaster. Lloyd was close to brother-in-law Romey and Eva Warren of Arkansas and very best friend John Hemme, and is also survived by several nieces and nephew. In place of a funeral, as Lloyd chose not to have, there will be a reception from 1 to 4 p.m., Saturday, May 25, 2013, at the Elks Club on 240 East Ave K, Lancaster, all family and friends welcome. Come celebrate with Nora Ann and remember the sixty-five years of marriage that gave her and Lloyd their wonderful family, filled with memories and bountiful blessings. Arrangements entrusted to Antelope Valley Cremation Lancaster.
