FIX, Adolf M.Adie
FIX, Adolf M."Adie" Born August 26, 1922. Passed away May 17, 2013, in Lancaster, Calif. Adolf 'Adie' is survived by his sons Richard (Bonnie) and Allan (Joanne) Fix, three grandchildren and ten great grandchildren. Adie, preceded in death by his wife, Evelyn, they had 65 years of marriage. Adie, a World War II, B-17 Crew Member, was awarded three Bronze Stars; the Air Medal for Meritorious Achievement while participating in aerial flight, in which he also received the Purple Heart for his combat wounds. In recent years Adie was an invited speaker at schools and shared his World War II life experiences with students. Viewing will be held at 10 a.m., with Service at 12 p.m., at Joshua Memorial Park & Mortuary, Chapel, 808 East Lancaster Blvd. In lieu of flowers donations can be sent to: Pride of the Nation, link: Page.html or call: 661-726-7649 ext 446, Jamie.
