NOLTE, Clifford E.
NOLTE, Clifford E. Born May 30, 1922. Passed away April 9, 2013, in Georgia. He lost his long time battle with Alzheimers. He is preceded by his wife Betty of over 50 years, who passed away in 1995. He was a very loving father who leaves behind nine children, Clifford P. Nolte (Concepion), Richard J. Nolte (Valarie), Barbara H. Kirk (James), Christine M. Nolte (Jim Bly), Timothy E. Nolte, Betty J. Suddoth, Thomas J. Nolte (Carol), Mary F. Sipos (James), Michael A. Nolte (Sandy), 16 grandchildren, 20 great- grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild. He served in the United States Navy from 1940 to 1946, and was very proud of serving his Country during World War II. He served on the USS Yorktown at the battles of Coral sea and Midway. He was volunteer officer for the Delhi Township Police Department. He was very involved in Sacred Heart Catholic Church, VFW, American Legion and Moose Lodge. He will be missed by all his family and friends. Graveside services are at 1 p.m., May 10, 2013, Good Shepard Catholic Cemetery, with Military honors.
