BOWMAN, Glenn Paul Buck
BOWMAN, Glenn Paul 'Buck' Feb. 23, 1930~April 30, 2013 He was born in Milwaukee, Wis., lived his childhood in Chicago, Ill., and moved to Palmdale in 1956. He was a devout family man that instilled the love of Christ in his children through his fine example. Married for 63 years, is survived by the love of his life, Joan E. Bowman; daughters, Debra Bowman, Vicki (Richard) Frederick, Judy Handy, Colleen (Bruce Valdes) Robertson; sons, Buck (Angela) Bowman, and preceded in death by his loving son, Joseph Bowman. He was a proud Papa of 13 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his broth- ers, Darrell (Gloria) Bowman, Nick McCalester and is preceded in death by his parents, Paul and Grace Bowman, brother, Donald Bowman and sister, Margaret Bowman. The extensive life of such a stern and life-loving man cannot be summed up in a simple paragraph. 'Every man dies, not every man truly lives', Glenn truly lived. A Rosary will be held at 10 a.m., with a Mass to follow at 11 a.m., both on Tuesday, May 7, 2013, at St. Marys Catholic Church. You may sign the condolence book at www.chapelofthevalleymortuary.com.
