PARKER, Mervin K.
PARKER, Mervin K. Born Dec. 18, 1939, in Worthington, Minn. Passed away March 24, 2013, in Lancaster, Calif. He served in the U.S. Navy, and was a engineer at Jet Propulsion Laboratory. Survived by his wife of 51 years Shirley Parker, sons Phillip (Sandra) of Lancaster, Calif., Steven of Amarillo, Texas, Michael (Shawna) of Landers, Calif., daughter Elizabeth (Carl) of San Diego, Calif., 15 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Dad loved the Lord with all his heart and raised his family to do the same. He was married to mom for 51 years. They were inseparable. Dad loved all his kids and grandkids equally and treated us all as if we were his favorite. He was surrounded by his family when he went to be with the Lord. While his passing was sudden and unexpected. The Lord showed true mercy and compassion on him. While he will be missed, we have the hope that we will see him in Heaven. We love you Dad. Arrangements entrusted to Joshua Memorial Park & Mortuary, Lancaster.
