SALGADO, Ernest Martinez
SALGADO, Ernest Martinez Born Oct. 26, 1921, in Visalia, Calif., to Anita and Francisco Salgado, went home to be with the Lord on Feb. 24, 2013. He served his country for five years in the Army during World War II throughout the world. After he returned home, he married Barbara Parks and they were blessed with ten daughters and then a step-son. His survivors are daughters, Rae Jean Ramirez, Anita Rafferty, Deborah Spivey, Andrea Jimenez, Delia Marroquin, Susanna Salgado, Nancy Salgado, Patricia Salgado, Lorraine Dominguez, Lisa Gonzales and Eric Willman. He leaves behind many nieces, nephews, grandchildren and great-grandchildren, also many dear friends in Palmdale where he lived for many years. He was a man of God and shared his love of God with all he met. Until he recently became ill, he could be seen riding his bike around town, visiting with friends and conducting business. He was truly one- of-a-kind and will be missed by all who knew and loved him. Services will be held graveside at 12 noon, Thursday, March 7, 2013, at Riverside National Cemetery, Riverside, Calif.
