SCHWABE, Edwin L. Departed from this world Tuesday, February 5, 2013, in Lancaster, Calif., to start his great and new adventure at the age of 86. Edwin was a resident of Tehachapi for 26 years. He was born September 19, 1926, in Milwaukee, Wis. He served in the Army for two years during World War II. He retired as Captain from Los Angeles County Fire Department after 27 years. Edwin is survived by two daughters and two sons, Gerry Terry of Rosamond; Thomas Schwabe (Tonya) of Lake Los Angeles; Rose Schwabe of Washington; Lee Schwabe (Juliet) of Texas; one sister, Monica Delany (Gerald) of Oregon; six grandchildren: Paul Terry of Turlock; Angela Rosenberger (Mike) of Rosamond; Shawn Terry (Candi) of Roseville; Thom Schwabe (Brandi) of Lancaster, Calif.; Jessica Schwabe of Washington;Kelly Schwabe of Texas, and seven great- grandchildren Courtney and Hannah Rosenberger of Rosamond;Cali Terry of Turlock; Conner Terry of Roseville; Bryce and Brooke Schwabe of Lancaster, Calif.; Corvin Schwabe of Washington. He is preceded in death by his wife of 34 years, Patricia Schwabe, and his daughter Stella Faulkner. A Father may pass on, but his thoughts, hopes and dreams live on in usÉ Relatives and friends are invited to a Chapel Service for Edwin at 1 p.m., Saturday, February 23, 2013, at Halley Olsen Murphy, Lancaster.
