ANTEL, Beverly Maxine Jenkins Born Feb. 1, 1953, in Los Angeles, Calif. Passed away Jan. 5, 2013, in Lancaster, Calif. She grew up in Pacoima and Lakeview Terrace, Calif. She went to Sylmar High School and graduated from Cal State Northridge. She has lived in the Antelope Valley for three years. She was a Editorial Assistant, Journalist and Writer. She enjoyed reading, dancing and traveling. She was a staff writer for the Antelope Valley Press. Survived by her brother Hobart (Jay) Jenkins of Lancaster, sister Margaret L. Jenkins of Greenville, S.C., brother Jenkins (formerly Richard) of DeSoto, Texas, brother Mark G. Jenkins of Bejing, China, Paul C. Jenkins of Maui, Hawaii, step-brother Essex G. Jenkins Jr., Aunt Beverly Stripling of Washington, D.C., cousin Tony Stripling of Philadelphia, Pa., cousin Anne-Marie Stripling of Teaneck, N.J., and 1 niece and numerous nephews.
