ZIMMERMAN, Henry 'Hank' Jr. Born May 5, 1925. Passed away from natural causes Thursday, December 6, 2012. Hank resided in Lancaster for over forty years where he ran his own construction company. Previous to Lancaster, Hank lived in Inglewood where he worked for and retired from the Los Angeles Police Department. He was a World War II Navy Veteran, serving on the USS Chester. Hank had a zest for life and was a real character, he never met a stranger. He will be tremendously missed by all who had the opportunity to know him. He leaves behind his son and grandson, Mike and Beau Zimmerman and his daughter, her husband and three more grandchildren, Lisa and Rick Longabaugh and Dane and his wife Heather, Cally and Blair Chambers and his sister Anna Lee Taylor. Visitation will be held from 2 to 6 p.m., Wednesday, December 12, 2012, at Halley Olsen Murphy, Lancaster Chapel. Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m., Saturday December 15, 2012, at Inglewood Park Cemetery, 720 East Florence Avenue, Inglewood, Calif.
