GREEN, Dora (Gallegos- Carlson) In loving memory of Dora (Gallegos-Carlson) Green, October 5, 1942 to November 21, 2012. She was preceded in death by her husband, Wayne Green (2007) and grandson, Benjamin Blackwood. Dora will be forever remembered as a loving and caring wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. She was a talented artist and created many lasting treasures for her family. She inspired those around her, always encouraging them and challenging them to not be afraid to try anything. Some of her most joyful years were those spent with her grandchildren. She made every holiday and family celebration more special with her homemade cakes, pies and gifts. She will be forever loved and missed by her daughters and their families; Micki and Martin Funk; Dana, Matt, Nicholas, Jenna and Shayne Stevens; Jacquelyn, Billy, Stephen, Iris, Dylan and Jessee Blackwood; Paulette, Stephen and Tyler Volmer; and Dyan, Shawn, Sabrina, Anthony and Emmy Milligan. Her daughters invite her family and friends to join in a celebration of her life on Friday, December 14, 2012, at 2 p.m., at 6523 Parker Dr., Palmdale.
