PLAHN, Stephen 'Steve' Passed away November 23, 2012, at the age of 72. A long-time resident of Lancaster, he enjoyed a 30 plus year career as a Traffic Officer with the California Highway Patrol. A loving husband, father and grandfather, he is preceded in death by his wife, Roni (2002), and is survived by his children Scott and Darcey, daughter-in-law Heather, son-in-law John and four grandchildren, Jillian, Haylee, Nicholas, and Rachel. He is also survived by his brother Greg. 'Pop' was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all of his many friends and family (thank you CHP!). A private service was held over the weekend. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a favorite charity.
