SKINNER, Rose Helen 90, of Lancaster, Calif., born February 9, 1922, was called to Heaven on November 2, 2012. She moved from Kansas to Lancaster, Calif., in 1945, where she raised her five children. She was the eldest mother of the first 'Five Generations' family to be printed in the Antelope Valley Press. Rose was a giving person and faithful to her church. She was very talented. She had several poems published and showed her artistic talents in the gifts she made by hand. She was an amazing mother and friend. She loved to laugh and play with the kids and was always there when you needed her. She is survived and is greatly missed by her five children, Jane M. Ellis; Warren 'Buddy' Pedrow; David M. Pedrow; Barbara E. Pedrow; Kathy L. Hall and their spouses, 15 grandchildren, 46 great-grandchildren, 34 great-great- grandchildren and several nieces, nephews and friends. Service will be held at 11 a.m., Wednesday, November 7, 2012, at Joshua Memorial Park & Mortuary, Lancaster.
