TAGGART, Ronald S. Born in Glasgow, Scotland Dec. 8, 1922, passed away Oct. 14, 2012. He is survived by his wife of 67 years Dorothy; sons: Steve and Tim (Pam); grandchildren, Ronald, Cassandra, Trachelle and Brittany, great- grandchildren, Malaki, Dorothy, Michael, Sierra and Logan. Ronald served in the Army Air Corps during World War II as crew chief on B-17s. He worked for Douglas Aircraft Company from 1945 to 1963, as a Flightline Inspector. He then became a Corrections Officer for the L.A. County Sheriffs Department and retired in 1978. He enjoyed raising livestock and was very active in 4-H. He loved fishing and hunting. He was a great husband, father, and friend. He will be greatly missed. Viewing will be held from 10 a.m., to 12 p.m., Saturday, October 20, 2012, at Halley Olsen Murphy, 3150 East Palmdale Blvd., with graveside services at Desert Lawn Memorial Park at 12 p.m. Please visit the online tribute at www.hompalmdale.com
