MAHONEY, James Born Oct. 16, 1938, in Los Angeles. Passed away Sept. 24, 2012, in Palmdale, Calif. He grew up in Lakewood, Calif., and went to St. Anthonys High School. He has lived in the Antelope Valley 48 years. Jim was a High School Teacher, he taught for over 25 years at Palmdale High, Quartz Hill High and Highland High. Jim was a wonderful son, father and Freepops. Jim enjoyed gardening, giving to others, arguing politics, golfing, playing the ponies and watching college football. Jim belonged to The Elks Lodge #2027 for over 35 years and The Moose. Survived by his only son 'Baby Kevin' Mahoney, daughter- in-law Mia Mahoney and grandchildren, Margaret Mahoney age 12 and Patrick Mahoney age 8.
