JACKSON, Pastor Mamie Jewel
JACKSON, Pastor Mamie 'Jewel' Born Feb. 26, 1938, in Louisiana. Passed away Sept. 11, 2012, in Lancaster, Calif. She grew up in Beaumont, Texas and Oakland, California. She went to McClymonds High School and Merritt College. She has lived in the Antelope Valley 38 years and was Pastor of Bible Way Deliverance Ministry. She was a wonderful wife, mother, and woman of God. Survived by her sons Kevin Hamilton, Fred Hamilton (Gina), Eric Hamilton (Renee), daughters Venus Davis (LeNeil), Athena Jackson- Bell (Wil) all of Lancaster, Calif., 23 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren, siblings Elouise Parrott, Oralee Avery, Macheryl Franklin, Carter Perrott, Bill Franklin and William Parrott. Preceded in death by her parents Everlee and Devier Parrott and sister Dorothy McGhee. Viewing will be held at 10:30 a.m., with Service beginning at 11 a.m., Thursday, Sept. 20, 2012, both at Growing Valley Baptist Church, 44818 N. 20th St. West, Lancaster. Arrangements entrusted to Joshua Memorial Park & Mortuary, Lancaster.
