WILSON, Dorothy Born Dec. 10, 1926, in Burbank, Calif. Passed away Sept. 14, 2012, in Palmdale, Calif. Dorothy and her husband Herb moved their family to the Antelope Valley in 1954. Five years later they opened Wilson Ambulance Service, which they owned and operated, serving the Antelope Valley for nearly 40 years. Dorothy played an intricate part, behind the scenes, when they owned Wilson Ambulance as well as balancing the home front while raising their 4 chil- dren. The love for her family was very apparent. She was a mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend. Always willing to listen, advise or just to console when and wherever needed, Dorothy would be there for you. She will be greatly missed by all. She is survived by her children, Sandy Macy and husband Len, Randy Wilson, Candy Wilson, Andy Wilson and wife Beverly, six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Herb. Visitation will be held from 8:30 to 10 a.m., with funeral services at 10 a.m., both on Wednesday, Sept. 19, 2012, at Chapel of the Valley Mortuary. Interment to follow at 12 p.m., (noon) at Eternal Valley Memorial Park, Newhall, Calif.
