WALLACE, Robert J. Born July 12, 1922. Bob passed away on Aug. 22, 2012, in Palmdale, Calif., with family by his side. He was a long-time resident of the Antelope Valley, having graduated from Barstow H.S. in 1940, and residing inLeona Valleysince 1961. Bob retired from the Air National Guard as a Master Sgt. and served in the USAF duringWorld War II and the Korean Conflict. He was also a retired Sgt. with the L.A. Co. Sheriff's Dept. A.V. Station. A Memorial will be held at 1 p.m., Friday, Sept. 7, 2012, at the Leona Valley Community Church 9306 Leona Ave., Leona Valley.
