TILFORD Jr., Arnold B. Born November 25, 1940, in Cincinnati, Ohio, the firstborn son of Arnold B. and Ruby Tilford, he was followed by five siblings, one brother and four sisters. He passed away Sunday morning August 12, 2012. He enlisted in the United States Army serving two tours of duty in Vietnam as a Flight Mechanic and Door Gunner on helicopters. On Jan. 23, 1976, he married Jacqueline Williams. Together they fostered and adopted seven children. They poured themselves into providing a home for those who were without a home or hope for a future. He was preceded in death by his father Arnold B. Tilford, Sr., and his sister Beverly Jean Tilford. He leaves to cherish his memory his wife Jacqueline; mother Ruby M. Tilford of Cincinnati, Ohio, sons Derek, David, Rudy, Tony and Joshua, daughters Sabrina and Erin, brother Ronald (Nikki) of Cincinnati, Ohio, sisters Helen Stockdale, Christine Tilford and Jacqueline Tilford all of Cincinnati, Ohio, as well as other family. Visitation will be held from 1 to 3 p.m., with services at 3 p.m., Sunday, August 26, 2012, at Halley Olsen Murphy, Lancaster.
