WYMAN, Virginia Gore
WYMAN, Virginia Gore 1939 ~ 2012 Virginia was born on August 6, 1939, to Bill and Virginia Clay Gore. Virginia was home when she finished her courageous fight with cancer on July 9, 2012. She had many of her loved ones at her side in the end. Virginia met Edward Wyman in the chemistry laboratory at El Camino Community College and they were married on August 19, 1960. Together they had six children; Lynne, Denise, Clayton, Bradley, Christine and Cameron. Virginia was the laboratory technician at Antelope Valley Community College for 20 years where she enjoyed helping young people learn chemistry. She was a devoted 4-H leader who stepped in to teach whichever projects were requested by her kids. Some of her favorite pastimes and interests included; enjoying nature, animal sciences, photography and spending time with family. She was the one everyone went to when they needed comfort, help and advice. She is survived by her husband Edward Wyman, her children; Lynne Brown (Dan), Denise Walton, Brad Wyman (Amy), Christy OKeefe (Clint) and Cameron Wyman (Chrissy); her grandchildren; Trevor, Catie, Clara, Shane, Sydney, Colton and Chael, her brothers Sarge Gore and W.T. Gore. She is preceded in death by her parents, Bill and Virginia Clay Gore and her son Clayton Wyman. Viewing will be held from 10 a.m., to 1 p.m., with Funeral Chapel Services to commence at 2 p.m., Saturday, July 21, 2012, at Halley Olsen Murphy, 44802 N. Date Ave, Lancaster, CA 93534.
